Want to avoid problems with RPZ testing?

Use our RPZ testing checklists

If you are responsible for RPZ valves

  1. Use the search on the WaterSafe website to check the RPZ tester you are employing is recognised by your local water undertaker and has the right test equipment.

  2. Remember there are going to be changes from the 1st July , so if your RPZ valve needs to be tested from June and you don’t confirm this, then there is a risk your certification won’t be accepted and the valve will have to be retested at your expense.

  3. Seek advice from your local water undertaker water fittings team if you have any questions about RPZ testing. They will be happy to assist, their contact details can be found here.

  4. Sign up for alerts from Water Regs UK so you know about changes which could affect you.

  3. Don’t forget you have until 30th June to confirm with your scheme you have compliant test equipment. If you don’t your membership will be revoked, which means your details wont appear in WaterSafe search results from the 1st July.

  4. Recognised on a localised basis talk to your water undertaker, they are likely to suggest you join a scheme

  5. Sign up for alerts from Water Regs UK so you know when the training, to revalidate your competency status, goes live
