Consultations

Consultation on the WC Suite Performance Specifications

Defra has launched its consultation on WC Suite Performance Specifications. They are planning to update the specification to address issues of backflow from WC cisterns.

The consultation closes on 3rd October 2022.

It is a technical consultation and would be of interest to those who, manufacture, assemble, test, certify or sell WC suites or have an interest in specifying, designing or maintaining water systems and plumbing fittings.

Defra are also gathering evidence on faulty toilet valves that cause a loss of water and look at what might be done to enable manufacturers to improve them and meet consumers expectations.
